Hello, my name is Alex Hernandez and I am currently a student at Santiago High School. I am a sixteen-year-old junior from Garden Grove California. 

I have grown up in the same house my whole life with a strong raising in my Mexican heritage culture. I have always had a passion for watching movies, I would often organize movie nights for me and my family and still do sometimes now. Some of my favorite movies are Superbad, The Batman, and all the Brad Pitt movies. I enjoy watching behind-the-scenes of all my favorite movies, especially horror ones like Halloween and Scream. I like to spend my time making music in my room and playing by myself or sometimes with someone else. I like spending my time mostly listening to music as well. I hear a lot of punk rock but also I like some easier things like jazz that are much calmer or indie rock which has much more comforting lyrics. Some of my favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra, and the Growlers. I also spend a lot of my time eating and trying new food combos or spots, my favorite food is a good omelet and any sort of pancakes.

I plan on attending Humboldt University to get my degree in cinematography. I hope to get a happy career somewhere involving movies. I plan to stay in Garden Grove California and have a well-decorated house for myself. I hope to contribute a hardworking attitude to the YFMS foundation
