Hello, my name is Isaac Laban Vasquez, I am a 14 year old 9th grader here at Santiago High school. I was born here in California, but my parents are from a small country in South America called El Salvador. I have 2 older sisters, making me the only boy, and the youngest in our family. Me and my family are Christians, meaning we believe in God, however I haven’t gone to church a lot after covid and what not Some people would describe me as a bit shy and quiet, and I would agree most of the time, however lately I’ve been working on my confidence and speaking in general. Although a subject I excel at is English, I struggled a lot before with speaking, however as I said before, I’ve gotten better. One reason for this is because of a certain sport that I absolutely love and adore that I’ve been playing outside of any school for about 2 to 3 years now. The sport I’m talking about is boxing, and I wouldn’t call myself very good at it, but I have grown a lot in this sport. I loved this sport so much I even considered doing it for a full time career in the past, but then I put some actual thought into it.
